About Fanaa
Fanaa is a romantic thriller directed by Kunal Kohli, featuring Aamir Khan and Kajol in one of Bollywood’s most memorable on-screen pairings. The story revolves around Zooni (Kajol), a cheerful visually impaired woman from Kashmir, who travels to Delhi and falls deeply in love with a charming and poetic tour guide named Rehan (Aamir Khan).
Their romance quickly blossoms into marriage, and Zooni undergoes eye surgery that finally restores her vision. However, tragedy strikes when Rehan is presumed dead after a terror attack in Delhi. Years later, Zooni discovers the shocking truth, Rehan is actually a terrorist linked to a dangerous extremist group. The film builds to an emotional and heartbreaking conclusion, with love and betrayal clashing, as Zooni must choose between her feelings and her duty to stop a deadly mission.
