Odysse Electric Vehicle, one of India’s fastest-growing premium EV makers, launched the SUN scooter. This high-speed scooter promises not just performance, but also comfort and style that can make daily commuting easy.
The Odysse SUN is built for speed and convenience and it can reach up to 70 km/h and comes in two battery options- one that offers about 85 km range and the other stretching to 130 km on a single charge. Charging is quick too, taking just 4 to 4.5 hours for a full charge. The prices start at Rs 81,000 (ex-showroom) for the smaller battery and Rs 91,000 (ex-showroom) for the larger one.
The SUN scooter stands out because of its aviation grade cushioned and plus size seat which is paired with 32-litre storage space that can accomodate helmets, bags, and groceries with ease. It is powered by a 2500-watt motor and offers three useful modes which are- Drive for normal riding, Parking for stopping securely, and Reverse for easy maneuvering in tight spots.
For comfort and safety, it is equipped with telescopic front suspension, adjustable rear shocks, disc brakes on both wheels, a digital meter, LED lights, and a double flash reverse light for extra visibility. SUN comes in four shades- Patina Green, Gunmetal Grey, Phantom Black, and Ice Blue.
