In a candid conversation with Queerly Radio, Milly Alcock felt the film is beautiful because its focus is on women, and it is also far from being about love. “I don’t really know. I don’t know. I don’t know. She probably goes both ways,” she concluded.

Earlier On Supergirl’s Sexuality

has been quite open in discussing about the Supergirl’s sexuality. In an earlier interview with Narrativa Femina, when asked about LGBTQ+ fans feeling a strong connection with the character, the House of the Dragon actress felt honoured if that is true. “I think I’ve played a few characters that might have a potential queer through line,” she added by mentioning how there are a lot of queer friends of hers as well. According to Milly, what makes her character Kara so special is her not being in a binary box, where women are expected to be a certain way. She had already pondered the belief and felt it was something fun and unique. “I was like, she’d do what she’d want to do in that regard anyway,” she concluded.
