Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor, known for her private nature regarding personal life, recently delighted her fans by sharing a playful moment with her son, Taimur Ali Khan.
The mother-son duo engaged in a spirited game of cricket, during which Kareena humorously showcased her bowling skills, likening them to those of renowned Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah. This light-hearted comparison added a touch of humor to their playdate, highlighting Kareena’s playful side.
On Tuesday, Kareena took to Instagram to post a series of pictures capturing the fun-filled cricket session. Clad in a pink shirt and blue jeans, she was seen bowling to Taimur, who was poised with his bat in the nets. Embracing the vibrant energy of her iconic character Geet from the film “Jab We Met,” Kareena playfully declared, “Don’t underestimate my talent. I can give Bumrah competition too.” Bumrah, celebrated for his exceptional bowling skills and ability to perform under pressure, is regarded as one of the finest bowlers in the world.
Previously, Kareena had revealed that Taimur has little interest in the film industry, instead showing a keen passion for sports, particularly cricket and football. She mentioned that Taimur often inquires about her friendships with cricket stars Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, expressing a desire to connect with them. This interest in cricket is not surprising, given that Taimur’s late grandfather, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, was a legendary cricketer and former captain of the Indian national team.
Looking ahead, Kareena Kapoor is set to appear in the upcoming film “Daayra,” directed by Meghna Gulzar. The film, inspired by true events, is described as a thriller that delves into themes of crime, justice, and punishment. Produced by Junglee Pictures and Pen Studios, “Daayra” also features Prithviraj Sukumaran in a leading role and is scheduled for theatrical release on September 18.
