Commissioner of Police S Dev Datta Singh told news agency PTI that there was no major trouble. He said, “There was no such unpleasant situation. There was indeed a huge crowd, but we managed it properly. One person sustained a minor injury and is stable.” Senior police officers, including Singh, were actively monitoring the event from the control room and rushed to the scene to help control the situation.

The police asked the crowd to stay calm using public announcement systems. Their quick efforts helped the concert to continue after the brief interruption. About 2,100 police personnel, including 70 platoons, were deployed to ensure law and order at the Bali Jatra festival.
