- On this day, one should wear red clothes after bathing etc. at night. Then one should recite Shri Sukta while sitting in front of the idol of Goddess Lakshmi in the home temple. A copper pot should be filled with Ganga water. Then the next day Ganga water should be sprinkled in the entire house. By doing this remedy, wealth increases in the house.
- On this day in the evening one should go near the Peepal tree and offer water. Then it should be circumambulated seven times. By doing this remedy all the obstacles and troubles of life are removed.
