When does PM Kisan get its installment?
The amount of Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana comes thrice a year. Rs 2,000 every 4 months and a total of Rs 6,000 in a year. The 20th installment has been received in August 2025. Now waiting for the 21st installment. But till now no official information has been given by the government regarding this.
When will PM Kisan 21st installment come?
The 20th installment was received in August, so this becomes the official timing of the next installment. According to some media reports, after the results of Bihar elections, the Central Government can soon announce the date of the next installment. Meaning a big update can come any time now in November. It is expected that by the last month of this month or the first week of December, the government can send the money to the accounts of the farmers. Earlier, in view of heavy rains, floods and landslides, the government has already released the installment in some states. This includes Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir.
Why can PM Kisan installments be stopped?
The government has clearly said that PM Kisan will get the amount only when eKYC is updated. If your eKYC is pending, the installment may get stuck. The documents of the farmers who have purchased land after February 1, 2019, are still under verification. The installment will not come until the verification is completed. If two people in the same family are taking money, like both husband and wife or an adult and a minor, then in such cases the department has stopped the payment for the time being. Therefore, farmers must check their beneficiary status once on the PM Kisan website.
