State is home to many Ayurvedic herbs and plants

Dhami explained that Uttarakhand has a rich history of spiritual practices and natural healing. The state is home to many Ayurvedic herbs and plants, and has a peaceful environment perfect for yoga and meditation. By building these zones, the government wants to attract tourists and wellness seekers from all over the world.

The Chief Minister also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for promoting Ayurveda and traditional Indian medicine globally. He said that under Modi’s leadership, Ayurveda has gained international respect. Uttarakhand wants to become a global hub for Ayurveda and wellness.

State will work on improving Ayurvedic colleges

To support this goal, the state will work on improving Ayurvedic colleges and research centers. More training and education will be given to students and professionals in the wellness field. This will help young people find good jobs and start small businesses in yoga, Ayurveda, and tourism.

Ayurveda is part of India’s cultural heritage
