Made-in-India Renault Duster Exports Begin, First 750 Units Shipped to South Africa

The first batch of Duster SUVs, which was   2026, has been dispatched from the automaker’s manufacturing facility near Chennai. South Africa has become the first export destination for the locally built model. The global rollout is part of Renault’s strategy of using its Indian production base to serve multiple international markets. Over the years, Renault has exported several India-made models, including the Triber and Kiger, to several foreign markets. The addition of the new-generation Duster widens the country’s contribution to Renault’s export plans. Renault has set the target to generate GBP 2 billion (around Rs 25,000 crore) in annual exports from India by 2030. The Chennai facility is expected to play a central role in achieving the mission. The most recent export operations of the new Duster show Renault’s commitment to its goals.
