New Delhi: The Union Cabinet conducted a meeting on Wednesday, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The cabinet expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives in the Monday terrorist car explosion near Delhi’s Red Fort Metro station. The cabinet also passed a resolution condemning the “heinous and cowardly” attack.
At the meeting, the Cabinet observed two minutes of silence in memory of the victims and extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. It also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured and commended the medical and emergency personnel for their swift and dedicated response in assisting the victims.
