Australia vs England: While at present the eyes of cricket fans are fixed on the India and South Africa Test series starting from 14th November, everyone is also eagerly waiting for the Ashes 2025 starting just a week after that. This series between Australia and England is very popular for the cricket fans all over the world and this time this series of 5 test matches is to be played in Australia. But before that, the host team itself is in trouble because one by one its bowlers are out due to injury. After captain Pat Cummins, now fast bowler Shaun Abbott has also been ruled out of the first test match.

Out of Shield match due to injury

The first match of the Test series between Australia and England will start from November 21 at Optus Stadium in Perth. In this match, the Australian team will be without its captain and star fast bowler Pat Cummins. In such a situation, the bowling of the Australian team already looks a little weak. But now another bad news has come to increase his troubles. After Cummins, now fast bowler Shaun Abbott has also been ruled out of the Perth Test.

Before the Ashes, most of the players selected in the Australian team are taking part in the domestic first-class tournament Sheffield Shield. In this tournament itself, star fast bowlers Josh Hazlewood and Shaun Abbott, playing for New South Wales, got injured while bowling on the third day of the match. Hazlewood had a strain in his right hamstring, while Abbott had the same problem in his left hamstring. Due to this, both the players did not come on the field after the end of the first session and both were taken to the hospital for scans.

But Hazlewood is completely fit

Where the big relief for Australia was that Hazlewood’s injury was not serious and he was declared fit for the first Test. Abbott’s injury was found to be more serious and due to this he has been ruled out of the first test match. Cricket Australia has not yet announced Abbott’s replacement. In the absence of Pat Cummins, the Australian team will include Scott Boland in the pace attack and in such a situation, Abbott could make a place in the playing-11 as the fourth fast bowler. But now the Australian team will have to prepare another plan.
