Renault launched its Kiger facelift model

New Delhi: In India, Renault introduced its first Kiger in 2021, but it did not go well in the market. After four years the Renault has come up with its new Kiger facelift with some updates. According to their teaser, it is likely to be launched around August 24.

After the launch of the Triber facelift, Renault has come up with the first trailer for their compact SUV, the Kiger facelift, which will also be part of Renault’s Rethink brand innovation plan. The main update includes the interior and exterior, while the powertrains may remain the same.

What’s new in Exterior

It is likely to see a change in the exterior of the Renault Kiger facelift, as what have been seen the Kiger’s alloy wheel size and design may remain the same, while it comes up with new fog lamps and may add upgraded bumpers. The updated version of Kiger is geared up with the brand’s new diamond logo, which was earlier confirmed by Francisco Marques, VP, Marketing and Sales, Renault India.

Interior and Safety upgrade

The Renault is coming up with several upgrades, but the interior details are likely to be unclear at this time, but it may have the same mild tweaks to the dashboard, come with soft touch stuff and new padding for seats and doors, just like its badge-engineered Nissan Magnite. For safety, the Renault Triber facelift comes with a protection of six airbags.

Engine and Gearbox options.

The 2025 Renault Kiger facelift comes with two engine options: a 72hp, 1.0-litre naturally aspirated unit and a 100hp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol unit. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual gearbox, an AMT (Automated Manual Transmission), and a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) automatic. Being a facelift, changes to the powertrain are possible, although the Kiger CNG variant is likely to continue.
