If you don’t have children then you are kidnapped! Heartbreaking revelation in Hapur

Police have safely recovered two children who went missing during the Kartik Purnima fair in Hapur. The accused were conspiring to sell the children in the hope of having a son. Police have arrested three people including the woman.

Police has made a big revelation in the case of two children going missing during the Kartik Purnima fair in Hapur district. The police have recovered both the children safely and the shocking reason behind this kidnapping has come to light. In their desire to have a son, a woman and two men had planned to kidnap the children and sell them.

As soon as the complaint was registered, the police came into action

Anita, a resident of Zamindaran Mohalla of Garh, had lodged a complaint at Brajghat police post on 6 November. He told that his seven-year-old son Kartik and eight-year-old son Chirag Kartik suddenly disappeared from the Purnima fair. As soon as the police registered the case, they started investigation and analyzed the CCTV footage. In one of the footage, the two children were seen leaving with a man.

Suspicious car caught during patrolling

On Tuesday, the police team was patrolling the area when they saw a suspicious car. When the car was stopped, a woman and two men were traveling in it. The police became suspicious after seeing his expressions. During the search, two children were found in the car, who were identified as Anita’s missing sons.

Three accused including woman arrested

Police arrested all three accused from the spot. The arrested woman has been identified as Geeta, resident of Dattiyana Chandpur, Bijnor, while the other two accused are Gautam and Mukesh alias Monu. When the police interrogated, the entire conspiracy was revealed.

Kidnapping story created out of desire for son

Accused Gautam did not have any children and he wanted a son. That is why he had talked to Geeta about bringing a child. Geeta along with her partner Mukesh planned the kidnapping.

Befriended children only three days ago

Police investigation also revealed that Gautam and Geeta had come to Brajghat only three days ago. He had won the trust of the children by giving them toys and food items. On November 5, Mukesh brought the car and took both the children with him on the pretext of outing.

Two innocent lives saved due to police vigilance

If the police had not taken timely action, both the innocent children would have been sold. All three accused have been taken into custody and sent to jail. At present the police is investigating whether more members of this gang are active.
