Who is Dr. Shaheen Saeed?
- Dr. Shaheen Saeed, a 35-year-old female doctor, hails from Lucknow and was associated with Al-Falah University, Faridabad, Haryana.
- Investigating agencies claim that she was in contact with Pakistani handlers and used to recruit women.
- It is being told that she was associated with a group called Jamaat-ul-Mominaat, which was recently formed by Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM).

- This women’s organization was announced in a letter issued in the name of Jaish chief Masood Azhar in October 2025.
- The command of the group was given to Saadia Azhar (wife of Yusuf Azhar).

Is this the new strategy of ISI?
- Experts believe that Pakistan’s ISI is now spreading “social blend” terrorism in India through women, i.e. making the educated class a “soft target”.
- Like ISIS, now Jaish is also using women in recruitment, funding, and propaganda.
Will the investigation now reach Maharashtra and Kashmir?
- According to sources, NIA and ATS are now preparing to extend the investigation to Maharashtra, Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir.
- During the interrogation of Shaheen, some digital wallet transfers and encrypted chats have come to light, which point towards foreign funding channels.

- This case is not just about an arrest, but is deeply related to education, society and digital fundamentalism.
- How a doctor, who promised to save the lives of others, herself went on a dangerous path – this is the biggest question of the day.
