Vishnu, 39, from Thiruvananthapuram was found dead in his flat in Bengaluru. On the brother’s complaint, the police have registered a case of abetment to suicide against his two female flatmates on charges of harassment.
Thiruvananthapuram: A man from Srikarayam was found dead at his home in Bengaluru. The deceased has been identified as C.P., a resident of Edathara Arthassery Temple. Vishnu (39). He was living in Bengaluru for a long time for work. In this matter, the police have registered a case against two Malayali girls living with Vishnu. Vishnu used to share a flat in an apartment in Yellanahalli, Bengaluru with Surya Kumari (38) and Jyoti (38), who work in private companies.
One of the girls called and informed that Vishnu was found hanging in the bathroom last Friday morning. After this the family left for Bengaluru. Feeling suspicious in the matter, brother Jishnu lodged a police complaint against the girls. Following the brother’s allegation that Vishnu committed suicide due to the harassment of the girls, the police have registered a case of abetment of suicide against him.
It is being said that Vishnu had a relationship with a girl and there was a fight between them regarding this. Police said that Suryakumari, who lives in Bengaluru, will be interrogated soon. However, Jyoti, who went to Dehradun from here for work, has switched off her phone, hence she could not be contacted. According to the information received by the police, all three are residents of Thiruvananthapuram.
