Women’s World Cup is now only 50 days left in the beginning of 2025 and this time it is being hosted by India and Sri Lanka. On August 11, the Trophy launch event was held in Mumbai which included ICC Chief Jai Shah, Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur, vice -captain Smriti Mandhana and 2011 World Cup winning team hero Yuvraj Singh. Harmanpreet Kaur said that Team India is fully ready to end the long wait for winning the World Cup. Seeing Yuvraj Singh, he remembered the 2011 victory and said that this moment always inspires him. Team India recently defeated England in ODI and T20 series in his home. The captain believes that the domestic ODI series against Australia from 14 September will be an important test for the World Cup preparation. Harmanpreet and his team aim to win the title this time and give happiness to crores of Indian fans.
