Alia Bhatt Brutally Roasted By Samay Raina
As he introduced Alia, Samay called her appearance the “lowest point of her career.” Within minutes, the actress quipped, “I’m regretting.” Samay, known for his wicked sense of humour, responded, “Maina bhi kiya tha Jigra dekhke.”
The actress took the joke lightly and replied, “At least tumne dekhi picture. Thank you for contributing to my film.”
It didn’t stop here. Samay went on. “I am so nervous about sitting next to you. I’m such a big fan… of your husband.” He added, “Aap itni badi actress ho,” and highlighted her awards and achievements. Just when we thought he was serious, he jokingly asked, “Why are you here?”
Roasting Alia for allegedly being at the Cannes Film Festival, he said, “Yaha camera aap pe hai.”
Jokes apart, he called it an honour to have Alia on the show.

Remember Alia’s viral Koffee With Karan moment where she named Prithviraj Chavan as the President of India instead of the correct answer, Pranab Mukherjee, during a rapid-fire round and got brutally trolled for months? Samay revisited that and asked if she knew who the current one was. Alia gave the correct answer and said she received her National Award from Droupadi Murmu. Samay seemed highly impressed.
When it came to Sharvari, she was asked who she was and why she was there. Samay joked that he was just told Alia has a “plus one.”
Apart from roasting the co-panellists, the show also featured some entertaining performances. Both Alia and Sharvari had a blast as they interacted with the participants and judged their performances.
The second season of the infamous show marks Raina’s comeback after the India’s Got Latent controversy last year, which landed the comedian in legal trouble.
