Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Q4 results: Net profit rises 94% YoY; board recommends final dividend for FY26

Amara Raja Energy & Mobility reported a 94% growth in its consolidated net profit at ₹314 crore on Monday, May 25, for the fourth quarter of the financial year 2025-26 (Q4 FY26) as compared to ₹162 crore in the same period last year.

The auto components and equipment firm’s revenue from operations increased 16% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹3,536 crore in the January-March period from ₹3,060 crore in the year-ago period.

The company’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 13% annually to ₹384 crore as against ₹341 crore in Q4 FY25. Its operating profit margin contracted to 10.86% in contrast to 11.14% on a yearly basis.

The firm stated that during the quarter, it received ₹186.72 crore from the insurance company as full and final settlement of its claim related to damage to property, plant and equipment caused by a fire accident at its Chittoor manufacturing facility on January 30, 2023.

It added that ₹181.15 crore, representing the difference between the amount received and the insurance claim receivable recognised earlier, has been recorded as an exceptional item in the standalone financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2026.

Along with the earnings, the firm’s board of directors has recommended a final dividend of ₹5.20 per equity share of ₹1 each (520%) for FY26, subject to shareholders’ approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM). The company added that the dividend will be paid within 30 days from the date of declaration.

It also noted that this is in addition to the interim dividend of ₹5.40 per equity share (540%) declared on November 6, 2025.

On Monday, shares of Amara Raja closed at ₹883.40 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, gaining 7.65%. The earnings were, however, released after the market hours.

In the last five trading sessions, shares of the firm have jumped 8.3%, while for six months’ time, they have slipped over 6%. On a year-on-year basis, Amara Raja Energy & Mobility shares have fallen nearly 16%.

The company has a market capitalisation of ₹16,230.69 crore.

Shares of the company had touched their one-year high of ₹1,094 apiece on May 29, 2025, while their 52-week low of ₹670 was hit on March 30, 2026.
