In the 70th year of Madhya Pradesh, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav presented Vision-2047. Announced to make the state a ‘team leader’ in the development of the country with grand preparations for airport, investment, employment and Simhastha-2028.
Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh is entering its 70th year after completing 69 years. On this occasion, in a grand function organized at Ravindra Bhawan in the capital Bhopal, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav presented a big vision for the future of the state. He said, “Under Vision-2047, we are preparing a roadmap for the next 25 years of our state, so that Madhya Pradesh can play the role of a team leader in the development of the country.”
New chapter in the historical journey and development of Madhya Pradesh
The Chief Minister said that since Madhya Pradesh was formed in 1956 by merging three-four states, the state has traveled a long journey till now. “Our state, comprising parts of Central India, Malwa-Chambal, Mahakoshal, Vindhya and Berar, has been likened to the heart of the country. The stronger and healthier our heart is, the more prosperous the country will be,” he said.

Air connectivity will increase with 9th airport and helicopter service
CM Mohan Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh already has 8 airports, and now the foundation stone of the 9th airport has been laid by Vipin Kumar of the Airport Authority. He proudly said that “With the help of helicopter facility, Madhya Pradesh has become the first state in the country, which has signed MoUs to start air services in all sectors simultaneously.”
Glimpse of investment, employment and industrial progress
The Chief Minister said that MoUs worth Rs 6 lakh crore have been signed through the Regional Industry Conclave. “Proposals worth Rs 24 lakh crore were received in the GIS (Global Investors Summit) held in Bhopal, out of which investment worth Rs 8 lakh 44 thousand crore has been approved, which will provide employment to 6 lakh people,” he said. Under MSME also, 8 lakh jobs have been created with an investment of Rs 23853 crore.
Digital Initiatives and Administrative Reforms
CM inaugurated ‘MP e-Seva Portal’ and ‘Invest MP3 Portal’ in the programme. He said the state government will ensure that “every rupee of the government is spent at the right place and in public interest.”
Grand preparations for Simhastha-2028
CM said that the government has prepared a proper plan to make Simhastha-2028 grand and divine. “Arrangements will be made for bathing of 5 crore devotees in 24 hours at the 30 km long ghats,” he announced.
Government’s focus on environment, water and agriculture
The Chief Minister said, “Madhya Pradesh is the motherland of rivers. There is no problem even if some water goes to another state. Water is not only for the states, but is the lifeline of crores of our farmers.” He informed that PM Mitra Park has also been inaugurated for the development of cotton farmers in tribal areas.
New initiative for sports and youth
Dr. Mohan Yadav announced that the government is working towards building a stadium and a helipad in all the 230 assembly constituencies of the state in a phased manner.
“Successful journey” under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi
At the end of the program, the Chief Minister said, “This era of Madhya Pradesh is touching new dimensions under the leadership of the successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi. We will move forward step by step in every field of development.”
