ICC Women’s World Cup Final 2025: After 8 years, the Indian women’s cricket team has once again got a chance to end its wait. The Indian team, which suffered defeat at the hands of England in the final of the World Cup 2017, can now create history on its own soil in front of its own fans on Sunday 2 November. He will face a tough challenge from South Africa, at the hands of whom he had already faced defeat in the league stage. This time however, the Indian team will be stronger and more confident. But will the weather stop Team India from winning this title or will it show its favor?
This final of the ICC Women’s World Cup between India and South Africa will be played at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. On this ground, Team India defeated Australia with a record run chase in the second semi-final and made it to the final. There was a threat of rain in that semi-final match too, but then the weather supported the Indian team and Jemimah Rodriguez along with captain Harmanpreet Kaur led Team India to a memorable victory.
How will be the weather condition in Navi Mumbai?
But will the weather remain the same on Sunday also? If we look at the forecast of the Meteorological Department, it may rain in Navi Mumbai on Sunday 2 November. However, this rain can occur mainly between 4 and 7 in the morning. However, there is a possibility of light rain in the evening also. According to Accuweather, there may be light rain for some time between 5 pm and 7 pm. Now if this happens then this title match between India and South Africa may be stopped midway and in such a situation some overs may also be reduced.
If the final is cancelled, who will be the champion?
However, it is a matter of relief that after this there is no trace of rain till the whole night. However, these estimates may change on Sunday. But at the moment it seems that barring some minor hindrances, the final between India and South Africa can be completed on Sunday itself. By the way, there is a provision of reserve day for this title match by ICC and this reserve day is on Monday 3rd November. If the final is not decided even in these two days, then India and South Africa will be jointly declared winners.
