He was addressing the certificate distribution ceremony organized by Samsung Innovation Campus. On this occasion, in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, certificates were distributed to about 1300 students of Deendayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University and other technological institutes. The Chief Minister presented certificates to eight students with his own hands. On this occasion, he said that before 2014, India was going through an identity crisis. Corruption dominated the system. The country’s respect at the global level was ending. The youth were becoming obsessed with identity. But, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the implementation of many programs of development and public interest in the last 11 years has succeeded in establishing a strong identity of India at the global level. The Chief Minister said that programs like PM Startup, PM Standup, Digital India have not only given a new identity to India but have also contributed immensely in making the country the fourth economy of the world. He said that this change did not happen suddenly but many efforts were made at the government level for this.

Technology can be helpful in increasing ease of living

CM Yogi called upon the youth to pay special attention to emerging technology and innovation to make the lives of common people easier. Said that technology can be very helpful in increasing the ease of living. Today, with the use of technology, such innovations are necessary so that life can be made more convenient and simple.

Educational institutions should implement NEP in a time bound manner.

The Chief Minister also mentioned the importance given to the importance of technology for the country’s development and ease of living in the National Education Policy (NEP)-2020. He said that NEP can play a big role in bringing more positive changes in the country, provided all educational institutions implement it in a time bound manner. The Chief Minister said that in line with the objectives of NEP, the Uttar Pradesh government has taken forward the program to connect youth with modern vocational training from more than 150 ITIs with Tata Technology.

Avoid the habit of cursing the system, focus on problem solving

In his address, CM Yogi appeared in the role of a parent and teacher in front of the students. He said that cursing the system has become a habit for most of us. Such people find only the government guilty in every work. Instead of solving their own problems, such people remain busy in finding faults in others. The result is that the problem becomes incurable.

Solution will lead to success

The Chief Minister said that only the solution to any problem leads to success. There are only two ways to achieve success, one is to take the initiative to find a solution or to run away from it. He said that for success the solution to the problem will have to be discussed. Cursing will not solve the problem but we will run away.

Traffic rules are for convenience and safety

CM Yogi clarified his statement related to the solution of the problem with an example. Said that everyone discusses the problem of traffic jam but most of them themselves violate traffic rules. Traffic rules are made for convenience and safety. If we follow traffic rules there will be no jam. There is always some factor causing the jam. It is often seen that people do not use helmet while riding a motorcycle or seat belt while driving a car. Earphones are also worn while driving.

Environmental problem is a big challenge for the whole world.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also drew everyone’s attention towards the problem of environment. He said that at present the whole world is facing a big challenge related to environmental problems. A city like Delhi has become a gas chamber. There doctors are advising people suffering from respiratory problems not to go out of the house. He said there must be some reason for this. For this, while discussing the trend of burning stubble, he said that despite the government taking measures for stubble management and increasing awareness in this regard, people still burn stubble. Despite knowing this, the gas released from it will cause huge harm. Similarly, many people throw their household garbage on the roads and drains.

Only that system progresses which the society leads.

The Chief Minister said that we also have the way to solve many problems of daily life. In old times, there was a system of joint cleaning in villages and towns. The garbage was put in the compost pit and compost was made which was used for farming. This entire arrangement was spontaneous. CM Yogi said that only the system which leads the society makes progress. Due to dependence on the government, the society appears to be dependent and lagging behind.

Fund of Rs 1000 crore created for self-reliance of youth

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath pointed to Samsung Innovation Campus as a platform for Swavalamban Marg. He said that by joining this the youth can start their own startup. For this the government is cooperating on a large scale. He said that the UP government has created a fund of Rs 1000 crore for the self-reliance of the youth. He called upon the industry and institutions to work together to make the youth self-reliant and to provide internship opportunities to the youth in the industries. CM Yogi said that it is inevitable for the youth to have practical knowledge along with theoretical knowledge, because only the practical form of knowledge is going to be useful in life. The Chief Minister called upon the youth to connect themselves with emerging technology.

50 to 60 percent of the working force in UP is youth

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that at a time when the number of elderly people is increasing in the world, India is the country with the largest number of youth. Uttar Pradesh also has the largest youth force in India. In UP, 50 to 60 percent of the working force is youth. By joining up-to-date training, these youth can make themselves self-reliant and contribute to strengthening the economy. He said that in order to connect the youth with technology, the state government has rapidly advanced the program of providing tablets and smartphones to 2 crore youth under the Swami Vivekananda Youth Empowerment Scheme.

55 percent of mobile phones in the country are manufactured in UP.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while wishing a bright future to the youth getting training through Samsung Innovation Campus, said that it has to be remembered that only those who focus on innovation and research and development will become superpowers in the world. The more emphasis is given on innovation and research and development, the more the strength will increase. He also appealed to make extensive efforts to link trained youth with Prime Minister Internship and Chief Minister Internship and motivate them for startups. The Chief Minister expressed his gratitude to Samsung for training a total of 10,000 youth in the country through Samsung Innovation Campus, out of which 5,000 were from the state and 2,000 were from Gorakhpur and surrounding areas. During the program, four youths who received training shared their experience related to the training with the Chief Minister.

Vinod Sharma Speaking at the event, Chairman of Electronics Sector Skill Council of India (ESSCI) Vinod Sharma said that the Samsung Innovation Campus program has been given constant guidance and encouragement by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Under his guidance, youth empowerment is achieving new heights. Shri Sharma said that the trained youth will give a new direction to the digital future of India.
