Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day: CM Mohan Yadav launches ‘Prosperous Madhya Pradesh@2047’, new wildlife century to be built in Omkareshwar

Madhya Pradesh 70th Foundation Day: On Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day, CM Mohan Yadav released ‘Prosperous Madhya Pradesh@2047’ vision document. Announcements of industry exhibition, new wildlife century, medical college and big investment projects were made in the program.

Bhopal. On the occasion of Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day 2025, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav released the vision document ‘Prosperous Madhya Pradesh@2047’ at Rabindra Bhawan. On this occasion, he also visited the industry based exhibition, which showed how fast the state is progressing in industrial development. MP e-Seva portal and “Wash on Wheels” mobile app were also launched during the program. Making a big announcement from the same platform, the CM said that the state’s 27th Wildlife Century will be built in Omkareshwar, in which wild animals like tiger, bear and gold dog will be found. CM said that under ‘Vision 2047’, a roadmap for the development of the state in the coming 25 years is being prepared. He said that currently there are 8 airports in the state, and the 9th airport has been inaugurated by Vipin Kumar of Airport Authority.

Madhya Pradesh is entering its 70th year

The Chief Minister said that Madhya Pradesh was formed in 1956 by merging three-four states – Madhya Bharat, Malwa-Chambal, Central Province, Berar, Mahakaushal and Vindhya. That is why it is called “the heart of the country”. He said that a new era of change and progress has started in the state under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Today Madhya Pradesh is moving towards new heights in the fields of industry, agriculture, tourism and employment.

Emphasis on Simhastha 2028 and industry investment

CM said that development work is being done on a large scale for Simhastha 2028. 30 kilometer long ghats are being built for the devotees. He said that MoUs worth Rs 6 crore have been signed through the Regional Industry Conclave. At the same time, after adding GIS data, a total investment of more than Rs 30 lakh crore has come into the state, due to which more than 6 lakh jobs have been created. Work is also going on on the project of linking rivers for agricultural development. For this, MoUs have been signed with three neighboring states. Land for Rail Coach Factory has been allotted in Raisen district and Prime Minister Modi has given a new gift to cotton farmers in Dhar.

Development in every sector, from medical to railway line

Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the state government is opening 9 new medical colleges on PPP model. For this, 25 acres of land will be given on lease for just Re 1. Also, new technical colleges will be opened as per the needs of the industries. A helipad and sports stadium is being built in every assembly constituency. Indore-Manmad rail line will reduce the distance between Delhi and Mumbai by about 250 km. Prime Minister Modi has gifted the new railway line via Khandwa to the state.

Big step towards wildlife conservation

The Chief Minister said that a new tiger sanctuary has been created in the name of Dr. Wakankar at Ratapani near Bhopal. Apart from this, Madhav Tiger Reserve has also been developed. The number of cheetahs is increasing under the Cheetah Project in Madhya Pradesh. Soon rhinoceros and wild buffalo will also be seen in the sanctuaries of the state.

Future of investment and employment shown in the exhibition

In the Industry and Investment Exhibition organized at Ravindra Bhawan, it was told which companies are investing in the state and how many jobs will be created through it. The major investments are as follows-

  • AGI Greenpack – ₹1500 crore
  • BEML – ₹1800 crore
  • CETP – ₹48 crore
  • Mandideep Play-Plug Park – ₹76 crore
  • Mohasa-Babai Industrial Park – ₹59,000 crore

These investments will create thousands of employment opportunities and strengthen the economy of the state.

Culture and heritage seen in ‘Abhyudaya Madhya Pradesh’ exhibition

The Chief Minister also inaugurated the “Abhyudaya Madhya Pradesh” exhibition at the Lal Parade Ground. The history, culture and heritage of the state was beautifully displayed in this exhibition. Here the postures of King Vikramaditya, stepwells, traditional art, Devloka architecture, and the journey from ‘development to heritage’ were displayed through paintings and images. Zari-Zardozi stall attracted people the most. Tajwar Khan, fashion designer of this stall, said that she is working for employment generation and handicraft conservation with a team of 30 people. Their objective is that women should become self-reliant and empowered.
