Haryana Diwas 2025: State completes 60 years, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini made many big announcements

On Haryana Day 2025, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini greeted the people of the state and transferred an amount of ₹2,100 to the accounts of 5.22 lakh women. Taking steps towards development and empowerment, several new schemes were announced including the launch of paperless registry.

Haryana Diwas news: Haryana was formed on November 1, 1966, and today the state is celebrating its 60th Foundation Day. On this occasion, Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini congratulated the people of the state in a press conference and shared information about the new achievements and schemes of the government.

More than 5 lakh women benefited from Deendayal Laado Lakshmi App

  • The Chief Minister informed that “Deendayal Lado Lakshmi App” was launched on the occasion of the 109th birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay ji.
  • A total of 6,97,697 women applied till 31 October 2025, out of which 5,22,162 women were found eligible.
  • By pressing the button, the Chief Minister sent financial assistance of ₹ 2100 to the accounts of all these eligible women.
  • This scheme is for women aged 23 years or above whose annual family income is less than ₹1 lakh. The application process has been kept completely online and transparent.

Old problems will end with the introduction of paperless registry

  • Haryana government has implemented paperless registry system in the state.
  • A total of 917 paperless registries were completed from 29 September to 31 October 2025.
  • The Chief Minister said that this initiative will liberate the people from the complex process that has been going on for decades.

Three-day cultural festival organized on Haryana Day

The Chief Minister said that this time on the occasion of Haryana Day, a three-day cultural festival is being organized, in which the story of 60 years of achievements and hard work of Haryana will be presented.

Special event on the 350th martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji

Many religious and cultural programs are being organized in the state from today on the 350th martyrdom day of Guru Shri Tegh Bahadur Ji.

Government completes 11 years: Big step towards development and innovation

The Chief Minister said that the double engine government has completed 11 years of public service and has taken Haryana towards innovation, infrastructure and inclusive growth.

The government has fulfilled 47 of its 217 promises and work is ongoing on 158 promises.

Emphasis on women empowerment and youth employment

  • A target has been set to make 5 lakh women Lakhpati Didi in the state.
  • The number of startups run by women has reached 50%.
  • On the employment front, 1.8 lakh youth were given government jobs and 1.2 lakh youth got employment security through Haryana Skill Employment Corporation.

Historic step in the interest of agriculture and farmers

  • Haryana government said that now 24 crops in the state are purchased on MSP.
  • ₹1.61 lakh crore has been sent directly to the accounts of 12 lakh farmers in the last 11 crop seasons.

Rapid development in education and health sector

The number of medical colleges in the state has increased from 6 to 17, and MBBS seats have increased from 700 to 2,385.

New heights in infrastructure and industrial development

  • 12,20,872 MSMEs have been registered in the last 11 years.
  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of Maharaja Agrasen Airport Terminal 3.
  • 21 new highways have been declared to connect every district with the National Highway, out of which 13 have been completed.
  • The Chief Minister said, “Balanced development of Haryana is the aim of our government.”
