Kerala News: There is a lot of inequality in income and wealth in India, due to which some people are rich and a large number are poor. Even today, there are many villages and families in the country who are still living in poverty. But Kerala has become the first state in India where there is no poverty. State CM Pinarayi Vijayan himself said on Saturday that November 1 will be recorded in history because we have lifted Kerala out of poverty. Now there is no poor person in our state.

Actually, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan made this big announcement in the Assembly. He said that Kerala has become free from extreme poverty. The CM claimed that our government came up with such schemes that we have taken many families out of extreme poverty during these 4 years. CM said that after forming the government, it was decided in the first cabinet meeting in 2021 that extreme poverty will be eliminated from the state. For this, we launched the Extreme Poverty Eradication Project (EPAP) in 2021. Under this, 64,006 families were identified. On which the government worked and the result is in front of you.
This is how Kerala became a poverty free state
Chief Minister said – With an investment of more than Rs 1000 crore, the state government has provided daily food, health services, houses, important documents like ration cards, Aadhaar, pension and employment opportunities to lakhs of families suffering from extreme poverty in Kerala. The government provided land to landless people. Gave employment to those who did not have work. CM said that Kerala is the first state in the country where 100 percent literacy, digital literacy and electricity has reached every household. CM said that today is a proud day for the entire state, our enthusiasm is also different.
