The Indian Cricket Board is getting desperate for the shining trophy of Asia Cup 2025, which has not reached its hands even after more than a month of the final held in Dubai. However, the board is hopeful that this trophy will reach the head office in Mumbai in a day or two, but if this does not happen then it may cost the Asia Cricket Council and Pakistan Cricket Board President Mohsin Naqvi heavily. BCCI has prepared to take a big step.

Big update on Asia Cup trophy

BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia has made it clear that if the trophy does not come to India soon, then this matter will be raised strongly in the ICC meeting starting in Dubai from November 4. Let us tell you, India had captured the Asia Cup by defeating arch-rival Pakistan by five wickets in Dubai. But due to the ongoing strained relations between India and Pakistan, Suryakumar refused to take the trophy from Naqvi. After which Naqvi left the stadium. Since then this controversy is not ending.

Big statement of BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia

BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia told PTI, ‘We are a little unhappy with the way we have not been given the trophy even after a month. We are taking this matter forward. About 10 days ago also we had written a letter to the ACC President but there has been no change in his stand. He still has the trophy, but we hope that in a day or two this trophy will reach us at the BCCI head office in Mumbai.

Saikia said that if the trophy is not handed over soon, the BCCI will raise the issue in the ICC meeting to be held in Dubai from November 4. Saikia said, ‘On behalf of BCCI, we are fully prepared to deal with this matter and I can assure the people of India that the trophy will return to India, there is just no time limit. But one day it will come.
