Prosit Roy on assault scenes and criminals in Raakh
Speaking exclusively to us, director Prosit said a criminal becomes a criminal when people don’t want empathise with them. “It’s because when he does that with choice. There were moments when Rajjo could have done something else, Babu could have done something else. But they chose to do this at that moment in time. That makes them different from what was there in Pataal Lok,” he mentioned.
The Raakh director further mentioned, “Pataal Lok was where things happened with these criminals. And that’s why they had become this. Here it is their choice. So that is very important, not to empathise with them. He had turned the car around and gone ahead, and then he came back. It was his choice. He wanted to commit that crime. So that is very important for me to depict.”
