The Young and the Restless’ (Sally Spectra) has broken her silence about a debilitating health issue that caused her years of suffering with no answers. Now that she has answers, she wants to offer hope to others going through the same ordeal.
Courtney Hope Reveals Endometriosis Diagnosis
In a recent post on her Instagram stories, Hope revealed that she underwent surgery in 2024 to repair damage caused by three relatively common health issues that can upend women’s lives.
“Endometriosis, adenomyosis and PMOS are no joke,” Hope wrote in the post, according to . “It took me 34 years and multiple gynos to finally get diagnosed with all three by the best, Dr. Thaïs Aliabadi. Now, two years later, I am recovering after my surgery to remove it all.”
Hope, who began her soap career playing Sally on The Bold and the Beautiful, explained that surgeons found multiple lesions on her ovary, as well as a fluid-filled ,among other issues. The actress urged fans to not ignore pain and symptoms, saying, “Advocate for yourself if you believe you may have endo, adeno, or PMOS! Intense pain, exhaustion, inflammation, cysts, and bleeding aren’t normal.”
