Ever since its quirky teaser dropped, Baby Do Die Do has generated buzz for its intriguing story and for Huma Qureshi’s striking portrayal of Baby Karmarkar aka India’s first desi hitwoman. Directed by Nachiket Samant and produced by Saqib Saleem, the film promises a unique blend of cool action and edgy mystery when it arrives in theatres on 3rd July.
Adding a new layer to Baby’s enigmatic world is the film’s latest track, ‘Kaun Hai Woh’, sung by the legendary musician Mohit Chauhan. More than just a love song, the track offers a glimpse into what the makers call a “gungi behri ki silent love story,” a tender and unconventional romance unfolding amid the chaos of Baby’s unpredictable life. The song beautifully captures the blossoming love story between Huma Qureshi’s Baby and Rachit Singh’s character, Siddhu, bringing their unique bond to life through heartfelt moments. Shot aboard Mumbai’s iconic BEST bus, the track adds an authentic local flavour to this unconventional romance. Wrapped in mystery and emotion, the song explores the softer side of a mysterious character that audiences are still trying to figure out.
Speaking about the track, Mohit Chauhan shares, “What I loved most about ‘Kaun Hai Woh’ is the mystery woven into its melody. It doesn’t tell you everything upfront; instead, it invites you into Baby’s world one emotion at a time. There is a sense of curiosity and vulnerability in the song that I really connected with as a singer. I hope listeners enjoy discovering the many layers of the track and the love it represents.”
With Mohit Chauhan’s famous vocals bringing warmth and depth to the composition, Kaun Hai Woh offers an emotional window into a story filled with mystery, action and unexpected romance.
