Brass Supa
In modern times, the use of brass soup, parat and puja kalash has also been seen in the rituals of Chhath fast. It is said in the scriptures that yellow things are the symbol of Sun God. Brass or Fulha utensils are also yellow. During Chhath fast, Arghya can also be offered to Lord Sun in a brass supa.
Which Supa is right and auspicious?
Both the soups have their own importance. Bamboo Supa is said to be a symbol of nature, tradition and reverence, while Brass Supa is a symbol of splendor and prosperity. Bamboo Supa is auspicious and appropriate for performing puja in traditional manner.
