Engine and Performance

Under the tank, the Splendor is equipped with a 97.2cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which produces 7.91 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 8.05 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. It is paired with a 4-speed gearbox that delivers smooth shifts and power. With a top speed of around 87 km/h, it is made for efficiency and everyday practicality.

One of the biggest highlights of this bike is the fuel efficiency as in real-world conditions, it delivers a mileage between 60-70 km per liter, while Hero claims it can reach up to 80 kmpl under ideal riding conditions.

Features and Technology

This bike has i3S technology, also known as idle start-stop system, which automatically shuts off the engine at traffic lights to save fuel. Higher variants like the Splendor Plus Xtec come with a digital display, Bluetooth connectivity, and features like call/SMS alerts, real-time mileage, and low fuel indicator.

The bike has alloy wheels with tubeless tires which ensures safety and convenience during punctures. For braking, it uses a combined braking system (IBS) with drum brakes at both ends which gives balanced and confident stops.

Comfort, Design, and Everyday Use

Splendor Plus weighs about 112 kg, that is why it is light and easy to handle, especially in crowded cities. It offers an upright riding position, a well-cushioned seat and suspension tuned for comfort with telescopic front forks and dual rear shock absorbers.

Design-wise, the bike maintains its classic appeal, though the Xtec variant adds fresh color options, body graphics, and stylish headlamps.
