Director and producer Mahesh Bhatt is preparing for his upcoming film. Veer Pahariya and Varun Sharma are set to lead his action-thriller, but the film has yet to announce its female lead.
Titled Naam- To Live Is War, the film is Veer Pahariya’s second after his debut in Sky Force. Varun Sharma’s presence as the lead fuels anticipation for comedic elements, as seen in Fukrey, Chhichhore, and many more. Mahesh Bhatt has come forward as the presenter for the film. Veer Pahariya, on his social media account, shared a few pictures with the team and a hopeful caption.
Mahesh Bhatt’s Upcoming Action-Thriller
Mahesh Bhatt is ready to revive his 90s action-thriller creations with his upcoming film, Naam- To Live Is War. Male Lead is all set for his second action-thriller after Sky Force, released last year, starring Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan. Varun Sharma, known for his hit comedy roles, is starring alongside Veer as the lead. Talking about the actors, Mahesh Bhatt revealed how both actors can bring a unique presence to the film. He said, “They have the thirst and urgency to create a place for themselves under the sun.”
The film is written by Sidhaant Sachdev, Suhrita Das and Shweta Bothra. The writers worked under Mahesh Bhatt’s creative supervision. Sidhaant Sachdev, also a director for the film, is yet to finalise the lead female role.

The Sky Force actor has shared pictures along with the team on his Instagram account today. As soon as the post landed, it took the internet by storm. He also wrote a hopeful caption depicting his excitement and trust in Lord Ganesha’s blessings. Varun Sharma, starring opposite Veer, also channelled the same energy via his post. “This one is definitely gonna be exciting”, he exclaimed.
Fans were unable to hold their excitement after the reveal. Veer Pahariya will come forward as an angry young man with Varun Sharma as a fierce antagonist. Riddhi Chawda and Utsav Upadhyay, under Utsav Entertainment and Productions, will serve as the first-time producers for the film. The film will also be backed by Meghna Hirawat Upadhyay and Kaveeta Agarwaal.
