BSP chief Mayawati has expelled Lucknow and Kanpur division in-charge Samsuddin Rain from the party. He was accused of indiscipline and factionalism. Mayawati said that BSP will fight the upcoming UP elections alone.

Lucknow: Taking a big step in the politics of Uttar Pradesh, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati has expelled the party’s Lucknow and Kanpur division in-charge Samsuddin Rain from the party. This action has been taken due to allegations of indiscipline and factionalism. According to the official press release issued by the party, Jhansi resident Samsuddin Rain has been thrown out of the party by BSP Uttar Pradesh President with immediate effect.

Warning given many times, still Raine did not improve

In the letter issued by BSP, it has been said that Samsuddin Rain had been warned many times in the past, but despite this, no improvement was seen in his working style and behavior. The party said that Raine’s activities were promoting factionalism in the organization, which was affecting party discipline. When this matter was brought to the notice of BSP chief Mayawati, she took a tough decision in the interest of the party and ordered the expulsion of Samsuddin Rain.

Mayawati’s announcement, BSP will contest the next UP elections alone.

BSP chief Mayawati had recently indicated that the party will fight the next assembly elections without any alliance. He said that till now all the political alliances have resulted in loss to BSP, while the allies have benefited.

He had said in a rally organized in Lucknow on the 19th death anniversary of Kanshi Ram –

“Based on my experience so far, I want to make it clear that whenever our party has contested assembly elections in alliance, especially in Uttar Pradesh, we have not made any significant gains.”

Mayawati’s emphasis on discipline in BSP

The BSP chief has always emphasized on party discipline and unity of the organization. The action against Samsuddin Rain is also being considered a part of this policy. According to party sources, this decision has been taken with the aim of strengthening the organization before the upcoming elections and eliminating internal dissent. It is clear from the expulsion action of Samsuddin Rain that Mayawati will not make any compromise on party discipline and organizational unity before the coming elections.
