After this, she stopped her car, got out and met the children directly. Students of Varkala Model Higher Secondary School stood on the roadside waiting for the President’s arrival. The children gifted marigold flowers grown in the school to the President.
School officials say they never expected the President to come down from her motorcade and approach the children. The students say that this is an unforgettable experience of their life and they are very happy to meet the President.
