Kantara Chapter1 Day 21 Collection: Kantara Chapter 1 has created a new history at the box office. Earning Rs 557.15 crore in 21 days, it has become one of the top 10 grossing films of India. The film has left behind Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal and Shahrukh’s Pathaan.
Rishabh Shetty’s film ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ has earned at the speed of a tsunami, leaving behind all but three Bollywood films so far. Here we are talking about domestic box office. Now there are only three Hindi films which are ahead of ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ in terms of India’s earnings. If we talk about films in all languages of India, it has made a place among the 10 most profitable movies. Shahrukh Khan starrer ‘Pathan’ is out of this list. The special thing is that only 21 days have passed since the release of ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ and its earning speed is still quite impressive. In 21 days, this film directed by Rishabh Shetty has collected approximately Rs 557.15 crore. On the 21st day i.e. on the third Wednesday after its release, the collection of this film was around Rs 10.25 crore.
Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ leaves behind ‘Kantara Chapter 1’
‘Kantara Chapter 1’ has overtaken the lifetime collection of Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Animal’ in India. ‘Animal’, directed by Atlee Kumar, had a net collection of Rs 553.87 crore in India. However, Rishabh Shetty’s film is still lagging behind Ranbir Kapoor’s film at the worldwide box office. ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ has currently earned more than Rs 760 crore worldwide. Whereas the worldwide collection of ‘Animal’ was Rs 915 crore.

‘Kantara Chapter 1’ lags behind three Bollywood films
The collection of ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ is currently behind the lifetime collection of three Bollywood films. These films are Shahrukh Khan and Nayanthara starrer ‘Jawaan’, Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna starrer ‘Chhaava’ and Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Stree 2’. The earnings of the three films in India were Rs 640.25 crore, Rs 601.54 crore and Rs 597.99 crore respectively. It is expected that after total running, ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ can leave these three films behind.
