PM Modi In 47th ASEAN Summit: Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim on Wednesday confirmed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not go to Kuala Lumpur to attend the 47th ASEAN Summit. He will be a part of this conference virtually.

PM Modi In 47th ASEAN Summit: Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said on Wednesday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not be able to go to Kuala Lumpur for the 47th ASEAN Summit. He will participate in this conference online only. Due to time constraints, PM Modi will not be able to attend this conference. Malaysian PM confirmed and respected PM Modi’s decision. Let us tell you that this summit will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 26 to 28 October. There were talks between PM Modi and PM Anwar Ibrahim regarding this conference, in which both the leaders discussed strengthening the relations between the two countries and increasing cooperation in various fields.

Anwar Ibrahim said, “We discussed the holding of the 47th ASEAN Summit to be held in Kuala Lumpur later this month. He told me that due to the Diwali celebrations going on in India at that time, he would attend virtually i.e. online.” He further said that I respect his decision and wish him and all Indians a happy Diwali.
