However, in mid-March the price of petrol was reduced by Rs 2 per litre. Since then the prices have been kept frozen till now. But the way the prices of crude oil have increased. In such a situation, no change in prices is also a big relief for the common people. On the other hand, the price of jet fuel has seen a decline of about Rs 350 to Rs 500 per kiloliter in the month of April. first crude oil price

Although the prices of crude oil appear to be flat in the international market on Monday, oil from Gulf countries is trading at $87 per barrel. At present, the price of Brent crude oil is trading at $ 87.01 per barrel. However, in the last one year, the price of Brent crude oil has seen an increase of more than 9 percent. American crude oil prices have also increased to more than $83 per barrel. Due to which the prices have increased by 0.17 percent to $ 83.31 per barrel. If experts are to be believed, crude oil from Gulf countries may cross the level of $90 per barrel in the coming days.

Relief in prices of petrol and diesel, how?

In mid-March, the price of petrol and diesel was reduced by Rs 2 per liter. Since then the prices have been kept frozen continuously. After that it is considered a relief. The main reason for this is the non-increase in fuel prices even after the increase in crude oil prices. Yes, from March 15 till now the price of crude oil has seen an increase of 2.21 percent. In mid-March, the price of crude oil was at $85 per barrel, which has now crossed $87 per barrel. Because of which, even after prices have been frozen for two weeks, it is being considered a relief.

Jet fuel became cheaper in April

On the other hand, there has been a decline in the prices of jet fuel in the month of April. This fall is between Rs 350 to Rs 500. In the country’s capital Delhi, the price of jet fuel has seen the maximum decline of more than Rs 502.91 and the price has come down to Rs 1,00,893.63 per liter. On the other hand, the prices in Kolkata decreased by Rs 398.39 and the price came to Rs 1,09,898.61 per liter. The prices have decreased by Rs 342.59 in Mumbai and Rs 425.64 in Chennai. Due to which the prices at both the places have increased to Rs 94,466.41 and Rs 1,04,973.36 per liter respectively.

How much has the price of jet fuel changed in a year?

If we talk about the last one year, there has been a significant increase in the prices of jet fuel. In the country’s capital Delhi, the price of jet fuel has seen an increase of Rs 2,544.04 per kilo liter. The highest increase has been seen in Kolkata. The price has increased by Rs 4,669.63 per liter in one year. An increase of Rs 2,512.56 per kiloliter has been seen in the price of jet fuel in Mumbai. On the other hand, an increase of Rs 2,481.49 per kiloliter has been seen in the price of ATF in Chennai.
