Police said on Monday that this sensational incident of murder took place in Punalur, Kollam. Where in Koothanadi, a 39-year-old woman was strangulated to death by her husband and later announced the murder on Facebook Live.
According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Shalini, a resident of Koothanadi, Placheri, Valakkudu, Kollam. The most surprising thing in this incident was that her murderer husband Isaac, who had murdered his wife, later surrendered himself at Punalur police station. Then he told the entire story of the incident to the police. Even the policemen were surprised to hear what he said.

Police have registered a case in this regard. According to the FIR, there were many problems in the married life of the couple. The FIR states that around 6.30 am, when Shalini went near the pipeline behind the kitchen to take a bath, the accused attacked her with a knife, causing deep wounds on her neck, chest and back.
After this, the accused husband slit her throat with a knife and she became silent forever. I don’t know what came to the mind of the murderer that immediately after this incident, he went live on Facebook and confessed to the crime of murdering his wife. He also accused his wife Shalini of distrust and misappropriation of jewellery.
The accused himself reached the police station
According to the police, after committing the crime, he himself reached the police station and informed the police about the murder of his wife. The policemen were shocked to hear what he said. After this, a police team immediately reached the spot of the incident i.e. Isaac’s house and found Shalini dead there.
A Kollam police officer told PTI that Shalini’s body was later taken to the hospital. Based on the complaint of the couple’s 19-year-old son, the police have registered a case in this regard under Section 103 (1) (murder) of the Indian Justice Code.
The police officer said that the forensic team is going to the spot and investigating the house where the murder took place. Police said that the mobile phones of both the victim and the accused have been confiscated. Whose investigation is going on.
