First method- First of all, wash the lamps used during Diwali thoroughly with hot water. With this, whatever oil or ghee is there in the lamps will be removed.
- Now dry the lamps and grade it with the help of a grater.
- Add salt and lemon to it and make a paste.
- Use this paste on copper, brass or bronze utensils, it will make them shine like new.

Second way- You can shine your iron utensils with the lamps used on Diwali.
- For this, grade the bar of soap with the help of a grater.
- Add some water to it and make a paste out of it.
- Fill this paste inside the lamp and let it dry thoroughly.
- Now rub this lamp upside down in your iron utensils.
- By doing this the iron utensils start shining like new.
