Here an 85 year old man was searching for a bride, he responded to a marriage advertisement in a paper and then fell into the trap of fraudsters and was defrauded of several lakhs. Know what is the whole matter.
How did you fall into the trap?
Fraudsters defrauded an 85-year-old man who was looking for a bride of Rs 11.45 lakh. According to the police, he transferred Rs 11,45,350 to several bank accounts between April 18 and June 1. Actually, after seeing the advertisement for marriage, when he contacted that number, he was given a bank account number on which he was asked to pay the registration fee. When he paid the price, he gave him information about a woman and said that she would be his bride.
The woman contacted
After this the woman contacted the young man and a conversation started between the two. The conversation between the two started so much that the young man became completely convinced of the woman and then the woman asked him for financial help and promised to marry her. During this time, the woman kept asking him for financial help and kept sending this money to different accounts. When the man talked about marriage while giving money, the woman used to avoid it. When he started feeling that the woman was cheating on him, he informed the police about it.
As soon as information about the case was received, the police of Bibwewadi police station registered an FIR on Friday under sections 319 (2), 318 (4) of the Indian Penal Code and sections of the Information Technology (IT) Act. After which it was revealed that the young man had become a victim of fraud.
