The owner of Chandigarh’s pharma company MITS Group gifted 51 luxury cars to his employees on Diwali. He gave credit to the employees for the success of the company which was once on the verge of bankruptcy. His move has gone viral on social media.
These days, the owner of a pharma company from Chandigarh is making a lot of headlines on social media across the country. The reason for this is his gift given on the festival of Diwali. Yes, he has surprised everyone by gifting 51 luxury cars to his company’s employees on Diwali. Because of his generosity, he has now gone viral on social media. The video of him handing over the keys of luxury cars to the employees is now going viral on social media, and after seeing it, netizens are asking, ‘Is there any job for us in your company too?’
MK Bhatia, head and founder of MITS Group, is the person who has shown so much generosity by gifting luxury cars to the employees. According to a report in Hindi media Dainik Bhaskar, after celebrating Diwali grandly at its center in Chandigarh, the company has rewarded the best performing employees with luxury SUV cars. It has also been told in the report that Bhatia is not giving such a gift for the first time, even before this he had gifted luxurious cars to his employees on the occasion of Diwali.
Gave wonderful gift to employees after recovering from bankruptcy
This generosity of MK Bhatia shows his humble nature and his gratitude towards his employees. He had seen a lot of difficult times in the beginning of his success journey. Standing today as the proud founder and chairman of MITS Group, Bhatia’s pharma company had earlier suffered huge losses and was on the verge of bankruptcy in 2002. But overcoming all this, MITS became profitable in 2015, and perhaps the hard work of the employees must have been behind this. So, perhaps like the adage ‘water from a pond goes into a pond’, Bhatia might have planned to share a part of his success with the employees who stood by him during his difficult times. Today MK Bhatia is the owner of 12 companies.
Bhatia, who hails from Haryana’s Panchkula district, had planned to expand MITS Group to different states in India and also enter foreign markets. In a conversation with Medical Dialogues in 2023, Bhatia had confirmed that ‘We have already secured licenses in Canada, London and Dubai.’ As part of its expansion plans, Bhatia had announced the appointment of five new directors and appointed Shilpa Chandel as the CEO of the company.
But now the video of the head of MITS company handing over the car keys to his employees is going viral on social media, and many people are surprised to see this video. Some people were happy while some expressed doubt that perhaps the EMI would have to be paid only by the employees. At the same time, some people have asked whether there is any vacant job there.
One user commented, ‘I have a degree in Microbiology. Are there any opportunities in your company? Just give me a telescope, I don’t need anything car-wise. Another commented, ‘As long as you are making profits by making medicines without compromising on quality, there is no problem in using those profits to give cars, bungalows, ships to your employees. The problem arises when profit is earned by spoiling the quality.
