Amidst the twinkling of lamps and shower of flowers at Ram Ki Paidi, Dharampath and Saryu Ghat, foreign guests also chanted Jai Shri Ram. Devotees from many countries including Russia, Poland, Ukraine, Sri Lanka were extremely impressed by the grandeur of the festival of lights.
Diwali enthusiasm among foreign guests
The crowd of devotees gathered in Ayodhya doubled the happiness of the foreign guests. He was seen taking photos and selfies with his friends in the light of lamps. The divine view of Ram ki Paidi and Saryu Ghat left him completely mesmerized. Many foreign tourists kept capturing every glimpse of the festival of lights in their cameras and chanted Jai Shri Ram with enthusiasm.

Tourist Sivona from Poland said that she came to Ayodhya for the first time with her friends and the people here are always smiling. Very cheerful and friendly. Ayodhya is not a big city like Delhi, but coming here we felt very peaceful and happy.”

Natalia, who came from Ukraine, said, “The people here are very friendly. Seeing Ayodhya gave me a wonderful experience. This place is full of peace and positive energy. I have never seen such a big cultural and religious event before. This sea of lamps felt like a heavenly scene.”

Another female devotee from Poland said, “I have come here for the first time. I felt very happy after coming to Ayodhya. The devotion and love of the people here impressed me a lot.” He shouted Jai Shri Ram with enthusiasm. There was such a mixture of devotion and enthusiasm in his voice that even the Indian devotees present nearby became emotional.
