It is believed that doing this increases wealth and the safe never remains empty.
Keep the coriander purchased on Dhanteras in the puja room and take out the coriander and crush it. Then keep it as Prasad in Lakshmi Puja on the evening of Diwali and offer the remaining whole coriander to Goddess Lakshmi. On the next day of puja, sow this coriander in a pot or in the courtyard.
