Our government will take every necessary step for the welfare of farmers. The Chief Minister said that the state government is trying in every possible way to strengthen the financial condition of the farmers by increasing their income. Bhavantar Yojana protects farmers from fluctuations in crop prices in the open market. This scheme is a big initiative of the government in the interest of farmers.

Announcement of giving 90 percent subsidy to farmers

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that if dry fields are given water, the crop turns into gold, we will provide water to every field in the state. The food givers of Madhya Pradesh are now becoming energy givers. Farmer brothers must install solar pumps in their fields. By installing solar pump, you will get relief from the cost of temporary electricity connection. Making a big announcement in the interest of farmers, the Chief Minister said that now 90 percent subsidy will be given to the farmers for the installation of solar power pumps. Earlier 40 percent subsidy was given. The Chief Minister said that farmers will be given solar power pumps with one step more power capacity than electric pumps, that is, farmers with 3 HP will be given 5 HP solar power pumps and farmers with 5 HP will be given 7.5 HP solar power pumps. The Chief Minister also announced to give Rs 5,000 each to all the artists who gave cultural performances in traditional costumes at the Farmers Appreciation Conference. Before this, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav formally started the conference by lighting the lamp and garlanding the pictures of Lord Haldhar Balram and Bharat Mata.

Farmers are the backbone of Madhya Pradesh’s economy.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that due to the hard work of the farmer brothers, agriculture contributes more than 39 percent to the state’s GDP. Farmer brothers are in the true sense the backbone of the economy of Madhya Pradesh. He said that Madhya Pradesh is leading in the country in terms of production of food grains, pulses, oilseeds, fruits and vegetables. We are no less in the matter of production of plant based proteins. Madhya Pradesh is number one in the production of orange, spices, garlic, ginger and coriander. Madhya Pradesh ranks second in the production of pea, onion, chilli and guava and third in the production of flowers, medicinal and aromatic plants. He said that today Madhya Pradesh has become famous as Soybean State, Millets State, Masala State, Garlic State and Orange State and is being called the food basket of the country.

Through Parvati-Kali Sindh-Chambal (PKC) river links with Rajasthan, Bundelkhand and Chambal, Ken-Betwa with Uttar Pradesh, Bundelkhand and Tapti Mega Recharge Project with Maharashtra, we are moving towards providing permanent irrigation facility in all the areas of the state. He said that farmers are the real sons of Mother Earth. Madhya Pradesh is the motherland of rivers. More than 250 rivers originate in the state. Mother Narmada is a boon for the farmers of the state.

State government’s target up to 100 lakh hectares

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government is providing solar pumps to the farmers on subsidy. Solar pumps are being given to farmers at 90 percent subsidy. 32 lakh solar pumps are being given to farmers. Farmers should install solar pumps up to 5 horse power. Increase the cost of electricity and sell excess electricity to the government. After our government came to power, now 52 lakh hectares of area has been irrigated in the state. Through river linking scheme, farmers are being provided adequate water for irrigation. If farmers’ crops get water, their crops turn into gold. The state government has set a target of increasing the area under irrigation to 100 lakh hectares. Food processing units are also being set up to ensure that farmers get fair prices for their crops, so that farmers do not have to throw away their crops due to excess production.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that earlier the compensation amount was sent after the crop season was over. But now the state government has started distributing the amount even before the soybean crop is harvested. Only the farmer’s son can understand the problems of the farmers. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the farmers of the state are getting the benefits of Bhavantar Yojana. He said that farmer brothers grow food with a pure heart to feed others. The old governments did not use the water of Mother Narmada. Today the same Narmada provides water for irrigation, drinking water and industries.

Government’s guarantee of fair price for crops to farmers

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government is paying special attention to making the delivery system simpler by bringing speed and transparency in the implementation of schemes to make farmers self-reliant. He said that the well-being of farmers is the basis of our development. When the food provider (farmer) is happy, happiness spreads throughout the universe. He said that for the first time in the history of the state, soybean crop has been brought under the ambit of Bhavantar Scheme. Earlier, soybean producing farmers had to sell the crop at a price lower than the minimum support price, due to which they had to suffer huge losses. The government understood the plight of such farmers and has also brought soybean crop under Bhavantar Yojana. Our government will now compensate such farmers the amount of difference between the government purchase price of the crop and the selling price in the market. The Chief Minister said that we will guarantee fair prices to the farmers for their crops. Through Bhavantar Yojana, farmers will be given full value for their hard work. The Chief Minister said that Bhavantar Yojana is not just a scheme, it is a relationship of trust between the government and farmers. He said that it is our resolve that before the sweat of the farmer dries, his rights should reach his hands.

Bhavantar Yojana a boon for farmers

  • Narmadapuram MP Shri Darshan Singh Chaudhary said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, decisions are being taken in the interest of farmers. First, by giving a bonus of Rs 175 per quintal to the farmers, wheat was purchased at the price of Rs 2600. Now the soybean farmers of the state are being given the benefit of Bhavantar Yojana. The state government is giving compensation to farmers to compensate for the losses caused by yellow mosaic. For the welfare of cattle rearing farmers and mother cows, the grant given to cow sheds has been doubled to Rs 40. Farmers of the state are getting the benefit of Kisan Samman Nidhi of Rs 12 thousand. Farmer brothers should not be misled by the opposition. The government has also set a record by purchasing moong. The main objective of the Kisan Sammelan was to provide detailed information to the farmers regarding the government’s Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana and to motivate the farmers to take maximum advantage of this scheme.

Information about Bhavantar Yojana given to farmers

  • Senior officials of the Agriculture, Cooperation and Marketing Department gave detailed information to the soybean producing farmers about the process of Bhavantar Yojana, registration and system of benefit distribution of the actual difference in the selling price of the crop from the fixed minimum support price (Rs 5328 per quintal). It was told in the farmers conference that under Bhavantar Yojana, soybean producing farmers will be able to sell their produce in agricultural produce markets from 24 October 2025 to 15 January 2026. After selling the crop, the amount of Bhavantar will be deposited directly into the Aadhaar linked bank account of the farmers within just 15 days. Agriculture Department officials said that the process of registration by farmers on the e-procurement portal for Bhavantar Yojana has been completed by October 17.
  • Minister of State for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare (Independent Charge) Mrs. Krishna Gaur, Rajya Sabha Member Mrs. Maya Narolia, Senior MLA Mr. Sitasharan Sharma, MLA Mr. Bhagwan Das Sabnani, MLA Mr. Premshankar Verma, District President Mr. Ravindra Yeti, Mr. Mahendra Singh Yadav, Mr. Hiralal Patidar, Mr. Mukesh Sharma and other public representatives and a large number of farmer brothers were present in the conference.
