Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, once again became a historical witness in the direction of India’s self-reliance. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday inaugurated the symbolic ground breaking ceremony of the System Integration Facility of PTC Industries at the BrahMos Aerospace Complex. On this occasion the Chief Minister said-

“Self-reliant India is no longer just an idea but a reality. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, India now stands confidently in front of the world in its defense production.”

India becomes a symbol of confidence

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that in the last 11 years, India has traveled a wonderful journey of self-reliance in every field. He said that the dream that Prime Minister Modi had seen years ago in the defense sector is being realized today under the leadership of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh.

“Today India is emerging as the fourth largest economy. Defense self-reliance is not just a military achievement but has become a symbol of national self-respect.”

Lucknow becomes center of defense innovation

The Chief Minister said that PTC Industries has implemented the resolve of self-reliant India by investing Rs 1000 crore on 50 acres of land. He said that the Strategic Material Technology Complex established at Lucknow node is proof that India is now moving towards a new era of self-reliance in defense manufacturing by collaborating with the private sector. The entire supply chain capability from strategic materials to ready-to-fit critical components has been developed here.

Creation of employment along with defense self-reliance

CM Yogi said that this project will not only be a center of defense production but will also become a major medium for employment and technical skill development.

“India, which was once dependent on other countries for its defense needs, is today not only self-reliant but has also become a partner in the defense supplies of friendly countries.” He said that this is not only a symbol of self-reliance but also a step that opens doors to new opportunities for the youth of India.

Adequate land bank and technical support

The Chief Minister said that the state government has made significant progress in six nodes of the Defense Manufacturing Corridor — Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra, Jhansi, Aligarh and Chitrakoot. He said,

“We have adequate land bank, and institutes like IIT Kanpur and AKTU are with us for technical cooperation. This coordination is making UP the hub of India’s defense industry.”

From ‘Make in India’ to ‘Make for the World’

CM Yogi said that units like BrahMos Aerospace and PTC Industries are realizing Prime Minister Modi’s “Developed India” vision. He said,

“India is now moving towards manufacturing its own aero engines and advanced propulsion systems. This is not just an industry, it is part of the process of nation building.” Linking this achievement to India’s centenary resolution 2047, the Chief Minister said that this is the same symbol of confidence which the Prime Minister had seen in ‘Developed India’.

New opportunities for youth

Chief Minister Yogi said that units like PTC Industries are opening new doors of opportunities for the youth. He said that only when the youth of India will make the equipment to protect their motherland, the real meaning of ‘Make in India’ will be realized.

“What is visible today in the Lucknow node is not only the beginning of industry, but also the beginning of a new era of self-respect and self-reliance.”

This new industrial wave emerging from Lucknow is not just a story of defense self-reliance, but a glimpse of an India that is ready to realize its resolutions. Today, the journey from “Make in India” to “Make for the World” is progressing rapidly and the self-confident Lucknow of Uttar Pradesh is becoming the center of this journey.
