‘Thama’ created a stir in advance booking
According to Sacknilk, ‘Thamma’ earned Rs 63.36 lakh on the first day of advance ticket sale. With this it has collected Rs 3.12 crore from block seats. A total of 20798 tickets were sold across 2D, IMAX 2D and 4DX screens. There will be a clash of this film with Harshvardhan Rane’s film ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’. How much will ‘Thama’ earn on the first day?
Trade experts believe that ‘Thama’ can earn Rs 17 to 22 crore on the first day. The producers are targeting to sell more than 1 lakh tickets in multiplexes like PVR, Inox and Cinepolis and are expected to sell 1.25 to 1.5 lakh tickets even before the first show.
Let us tell you that Thamma, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, is the fifth part of the Maddock horror comedy franchise. Along with Rashmika and Ayushmann, the film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal in important roles.
