There were speculations that Prashant Kishor may contest from Raghopur seat and compete with RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav. But Jan Suraj Party made Chanchal Singh its candidate from Raghopur. This clearly means that Prashant Kishor chose to stay away from elections and focus on the strength and strategy of the party.
Why was there chaos in NDA?
Prashant Kishore revealed that there is complete anarchy in NDA. There is uncertainty over seat sharing between BJP and JD(U). He also claimed that the return of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is impossible. According to Kishor, it has become difficult for both JD(U) and BJP to decide seat distribution and candidates, making the political situation in the state even more complicated.

Can Jan Suraj Party bring big change in Bihar?
Despite being out of the elections, Kishor remained optimistic about his party’s prospects, saying, “Our party will either win spectacularly or lose badly. Winning more than 150 seats will be a big success for us, while winning less than 10 seats will be considered a defeat.”
He also said that if the party performs well, there will be a chance to transform Bihar and the state can be among the 10 most advanced states in the country. At the same time, due to weak performance, Jan Suraj will have to continue social and street politics.

Prashant Kishore gave examples from the previous assembly elections. He said that when Chirag Paswan fielded candidates and rebelled against Nitish Kumar’s candidates, JD(U)’s seats came down to just 43.
