Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has targeted the previous governments by holding them responsible for the poor condition of the government institutions of the state. The Chief Minister said that the people of the earlier ruling parties deliberately ignored government institutions and promoted private institutions for profit. Dedicating the Punjab Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences in Mohali to the common people, the Chief Minister said that now the Aam Aadmi Party government is providing better facilities to these government institutions.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that the government health and education infrastructure of Punjab was destroyed as part of a well-planned conspiracy, but after the coming of our government, this is now being given serious attention. Due to lack of government facilities, common people were being deprived of it. He said that private schools and hospitals cost a lot of money, so where will the common people get that much money from?
Punjab Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences
During this period, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has also targeted Punjab by accusing it of dominance of familyism in politics. He said that Punjab Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences is the second prestigious institute in the country and the first in Punjab, which has so many modern machines that even private hospitals do not have. He said that the government is setting up 45 mother-child care centers in the state, out of which 37 have been dedicated to the people.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that keeping in mind the health of the people of the state, 664 Aam Aadmi Clinics have been established where treatment is being provided absolutely free. More than one crore people have received treatment so far.
117 schools of eminence established in the state
Referring to the efforts being made in the field of education, the Chief Minister said that 117 schools of eminence have been established in the state where world class education is being provided to the children. He told that now even the poorest child can achieve heights in life.
