Tragic Accident In Chhapra: A terrible road accident took place on Chhapra-Siwan NH-531 in Bihar. A bus full of CISF jawans going on election duty was hit by a truck. 35 soldiers have been injured in this accident.
Tragic Accident In Chhapra: The bus of CISF soldiers going on Bihar Assembly election duty met with an accident on Chhapra-Siwan road at around 3 am on Tuesday. This incident happened in Rasulpur police station area near Pandey Chhapra village. Here the soldiers’ bus was hit by a truck traveling at high speed.
There were 40 soldiers in the bus
There were about 40 soldiers in the bus, in which more than 35 people were seriously injured. Local people and police immediately reached the spot and admitted the injured to Ekma Community Health Centre. After first aid, 28 seriously injured soldiers were sent to Patna for better treatment, while the remaining 7 soldiers are being treated at Chapra Sadar Hospital. As soon as the news of the accident was received, Saran DIG Nilesh Kumar, SSP, ADPO Rajkumar and local police station in-charge reached the spot along with the police force and inspected the relief work.

The soldiers had reached Siwan station by train from Delhi.
ADPO Rajkumar said that the injured CISF jawans had reached Siwan station by train from Delhi. From there he was being taken by bus to Doriganj in Chhapra district for election duty. The accident happened on Chapra-Ekma road when a truck coming from Ekma hit the bus. In this accident, the soldiers going for election security were seriously injured.
