Geeta Tandon’s Allegations Against India Ke Top 1% Makers
Stunt director and body double Geeta Tandon recently shared her unpleasant experience on the sets of India Ke Top 1%, alleging that she and her son were made to wait for nearly nine hours despite being invited as guests. Her social media post has now drawn responses from host Anil Kapoor and Farah Khan, both of whom apologised to her and expressed their respect for her work.
In her detailed Instagram post, Geeta revealed that she was invited to appear on and interact with Anil Kapoor, along with her son. She said the appearance was unpaid but agreed to participate, hoping it would offer some professional visibility. Geeta explained that she gave up a day’s work and even called her son back from Goa specifically for the shoot. She reached the set at 12:30 PM and was informed that her segment would be filmed within a few hours.
However, things allegedly did not go as planned. Geeta claimed that she and her son were made to wait for hours in a tent without proper communication, updates or basic hospitality. Despite repeatedly seeking clarity, she said the only response she received was that the team would get back to her.
Geeta Claims Production Manager Asked Them To Sign Before Leaving
According to Geeta, her frustration grew as the hours passed without any clarity about the shoot. She alleged that when she confronted the production team, the production manager, Jaydeep, responded dismissively. Recalling the incident, she claimed that he told them they could leave but could not do so without signing. Geeta further stated that she and her son eventually left the set at 9:15 PM after waiting for nearly nine hours. She emphasised that agreeing to appear without compensation did not mean that her time and professional commitments deserved less respect.
She pointed out that stunt professionals, body doubles, junior artists, technicians and background performers deserve the same dignity and consideration as established celebrities. She also addressed Banijay Asia, Anil Kapoor and Farah Khan, clarifying that she did not know how much they were aware of the incident. Geeta maintained that respect should not depend on someone’s fame or position in the entertainment industry.
Anil Kapoor Apologises To Geeta Tandon

He wrote, “Geeta ji, It genuinely saddens me to hear this. As the host, I always wanted everyone who was part of the show to feel welcome and respected. You and your son came as our guests. I’m sorry that your experience left you’ll feeling otherwise.” The actor further acknowledged the importance of dignity and respect in the entertainment industry, adding that he would never want anyone to feel they had been treated unfairly. He also thanked Geeta for sharing her feedback and assured her that he took it seriously.
Farah Khan Reacts To Geeta’s Message
Farah Khan also responded to Geeta’s allegations, clarifying that she had no idea the stunt director was present at the set as she was shooting the second episode in the evening. Apologising for the experience, Farah wrote, “Geetaji apologies.. i had no idea you were there as i was shooting for the 2nd episode in the evening.. otherwise would have made you sit in my van.”
She further expressed her admiration for Geeta’s work and said that Anil Kapoor would also have extended the same courtesy had he known about the situation. Farah added, “we have tremendous respect for you and your hard work..”
Both responses acknowledged Geeta’s unpleasant experience, with Anil and Farah expressing regret while reiterating their respect for her professional contributions.
