Launched in April 2026, the Vinfast VF MPV7 has received a significant price cut during the Diwali season. The electric MPV is now available at Rs 20.39 lakh (ex-showroom), making it Rs 4.1 lakh more affordable than before.
With this price cut, the VF MPV7 is now priced on par with the entry-level variants of the Mahindra XEV 9S (Rs 20.25 lakh) and MG Hector Tomahawk EV (Rs 20.25 lakh). It could also attract buyers considering the Kia Carens Clavis EV, which is currently priced between Rs 18.04 lakh – Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom).
Battery, Range & Charging
The 7-seater VF MPV7 is available in a single, fully-loaded variant. The MPV uses a 60.13kWh battery pack paired with a front-axle mounted electric motor, producing 204bhp and 280Nm of torque. The electric MPV delivers a claimed range of 517km on a single charge. It accelerates from 0 to 100kmph in under 9 seconds.
The MPV offers three driving modes – Eco, Normal and Sport, along with brake regeneration modes. Using an 80kW DC fast charger, the Vinfast VF MPV7’s battery can be charged from 10 to 70 percent in 30 minutes.
Dimensions & Design
Dimensionally, the Vinfast VF MPV 7 is larger than the Kia Carens Clavis EV and BYD eMax 7. The electric MPV measures 4,740mm in length, 1,872mm in width and 1,734mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,840mm. It offers a boot space of 126-litres.
Key Features
The VF MPV7 is one of the well-equipped vehicles in its category. The MPV comes with two cabin theme options – dual-tone black and brown and all-black finish. The dashboard and centre console adopt a minimalist design. The centre console features two cupholders, a wireless phone charger, and a small storage space. It gets a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which works as an instrumentation and climate control display.
Other features include a tilt-and telescopic adjustable three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, a sunroof, all four power windows, automatic climate control with dedicated vents for all three rows, four airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system, hill hold assist, an electronic parking brake, a rear parking camera with sensors, a 360-degree camera, ADAS and more.
Warranty Package
Vinfast offers a comprehensive ownership package with the VF MPV&, including 3-year free maintenance, 7-year vehicle warranty and a 10-year battery warranty. The MPV buyers also have access to free charging at Vinfast’s V-Green EV charging stations until March 31, 2029.
